We are a Solomons, MD based full service scuba center. We specialize in scuba diving, snorkeling, paddle boards, water sports accessories, and more. Scuba Center and Outdoor Rec owner Fred Lyles Sr has been diving since the 1970's and became a scuba instructor in 1988. Fred also led the Prince Georges's County fire department water rescue team for many years to follow. His passion for diving has grown through his career and now that passion has turned into his own shop. Scuba Center and Outdoor Rec is a family owned scuba shop owned by Fred Lyles Sr, his wife Beverly Lyles, and son Fred Lyles Jr. The overall goal of the shop is to "HAVE FUN"!
